Surprise! Central Minnesota is seeing the first snow of the season in the form of a blizzard.
We had rain last night. Now we have a strong north wind blowing loads of large, wet snowflakes all over. Snow is accumulating fast and it’s slippery underneath because of the rain that came before.
After one staff member making the trek in, conditions have become too bad for The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum to remain open. The museum is closed for the rest of today (Friday, November 18, 2016). We’ll reopen tomorrow at 10 a.m. if the weather clears (it’s supposed to).
Stay safe if you have to go out. Have fun shoveling snow. 🙂
P.S. The museum will also be closed for Thanksgiving next Thursday.
