Father Pierz Memorial High School, Graduation Photos, 1953 – 1968

The Morrison County Historical Society announces that its newest temporary exhibit officially opens Wednesday, October 1, at the Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum.

From September 1952 through May 1968, Father Pierz Memorial High School attended to the educational and spiritual needs of students from the Buckman, Harding, Lastrup, and Pierz parishes. A total of 1047 students graduated from Memorial High School during its sixteen years of operation.

In recent months, the historical society was donated photo collections from several of Memorial High School’s graduating classes; the kind that hung in the hallways of many schools, meant to recognize those graduates. There are many familiar names and faces found in the images.

Included in the display are copies of articles from the Pierz Journal about the goings on at Memorial High.

The photo collections will be on exhibit through the end of March 2026.
