Weyerhaeuser Museum Closed Thanksgiving Day

The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, home of the Morrison County Historical Society, will be closed Thanksgiving Day so that staff can enjoy the holiday with their families and friends.

The museum will reopen for regular hours Friday, November 25, 2016. It will also be open Saturday, November 26. Regular hours for the museum are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Select items from our gift shop will be on sale for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. While most people are aware of Black Friday, fewer know about Small Business Saturday, which is intended to encourage people to do their holiday shopping at small, local businesses.

If you’re hanging out with family and friends following Thanksgiving and need to get out of the house, come on in to the Weyerhaeuser Museum and connect over the artifacts we have on display.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
