Hello,
I am a Language Arts Teacher at LFCMS and am interested in the open position at the museum. I did not see an online application, but I was told that the deadline was this Friday.
I would love to be considered for this position, so if there is further information I could supply you with–that would be great.
Thank you.
Hi, Lauren – We hired for this position last year, so it is no longer open. That’s the danger of posting on a blog. We need to get the word out and, as a history organization, we don’t want to remove items from the blog (it’s amazing how often we need to look back at info like this), but old blog posts still look current to readers. I’ll add a note to the post so others who run across it know that it’s closed.
I’m sorry we don’t currently have an opening. If you’re interested in local history, stop by to see the exhibits or look through old newspapers or family histories. Research here is addictive!
