MCHS Website: Now with More History!

Between Marissa’s World War II veterans lists and what I’ve been up to for the last half-hour, we’ve been busy adding history content to our website.

The files I’ve just added are slide show/PowerPoint presentations I created years ago for our annual dinners. I’ve been working on a slide show for our upcoming dinner, which will feature a program on the history of the Kiewel Brewery, and discovered these old presentations while poking around in my computer files. It dawned on me that I could save these former presentations as pdf files and upload them to our website for people to access. No sense in letting them languish on my computer’s hard drive.

The files I’ve added are as follows:

Architecture in Morrison County, 2007 (permanent home in the History section of the website on the Architecture page)

Local Beat: Music in Morrison County (permanent home in the History section of the website on the Culture page)

Mississippi River Industrial Complex of Little Falls (permanent home in the History section of the website on the Business/Industry page)

Threads of Identity slideshow (permanent home in the History section of the website on the Artifacts page)

Enjoy!
