This black and white photo postcard shows a view of a baseball team from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. One of the members of the team was A. J. (Tony) Pappenfus, who opened Pap’s Sport Shop in Little Falls, Minnesota, in 1929. Pap’s Sport Shop is a sporting goods retail store that has been operated by three generations of the Pappenfus family. The current owner, Paulette Pappenfus, is the granddaughter of Anthony J. “Tony” Pappenfus. Tony operated an auto supply store prior to opening the sport shop.
