MCHS Board of Directors Appoints Interim Executive Director

MCHS Interim Executive Director, Camille Warzecha, 2016.

The Morrison County Historical Society (MCHS) board of directors appointed former board member and board president, Camille Warzecha, as Interim Executive Director at its February 8th board meeting. Camille served on the organization’s board of directors from 2006 until 2021, finishing her term as president. Camille brings extensive experience working with MCHS, both as a member and volunteer, and her interest in history extends from researching her husband’s family history to delving into a variety of complicated topics. According to Camille, “(b)eing part of the preservation of Morrison County history and keeping it accessible to the public is a challenging job for the small staff but is a rewarding one.”

Camille has continued to serve on the museum’s Finance & Personnel and Buildings & Grounds committees following her tenure on the board. She currently sits on the Little Falls Heritage Preservation Commission and is a member of the Morrison County Genealogy board of directors. Camille also served on the Little Falls School Board during the 1990s.

Camille will fill the interim executive director position until the position (https://morrisoncountyhistory.org/?p=9596) is filled with a new executive director. MCHS is currently accepting applications for the position. The search process is anticipated to be complete later this spring.
