Plant Sale

We’ve got 2 events coming up on May 18, 2019, at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum.

First up is our 2nd annual Plant Sale, which will run from 8 a.m. until noon. Gardeners and other plant lovers who’d like to add to their landscapes while helping the Morrison County Historical Society to raise money can drop by that morning and purchase some plants.

Those who would like to donate plants to our sale or volunteer to work the sale that day can call 320-632-4007 for more information.

Painting at the Museum

Following the Plant Sale, the Morrison County Historical Society will be holding a class run by the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota called “Painting at the Museum.” Using an exterior wall of The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, class participants will learn about different types of paint used on exterior walls, how to reglaze a window, and get practice on painting a wall of the museum.

Painting at the Museum will run from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on May 18, 2019.

The cost of this class is $25 for general admission and $20 for Morrison County Historical Society members and volunteers. To register, visit the Preservation Alliance’s website at https://paom.z2systems.com/np/clients/paom/event.jsp?event=951&.

If you have difficulty registering online, please call the Preservation Alliance at 651-293-9047.
