You’ve inherited several boxes of papers, mementos, and miscellaneous stuff from a relative, or you have your own pile of personal effects to sort. How do you decide what’s important enough to keep? What might be historically significant years down the line? What are you going to do with it all if you ever get through it?
Find the answer to these questions at the “Sorting for History” class being presented by the Morrison County Historical Society. Museum staff will explain how they sort through large collections and arrange and store items so they can be easily accessed.
“Sorting for History” will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 1-4 p.m. at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, Little Falls, MN.
Attendees are encouraged to bring 1 small box of items they would like to sort in order to jump-start their spring cleaning process.
The cost of the class is $30+tax for the general public, $25+tax for members of MCHS. A minimum of 5 people need to be signed up for the class to be held. A maximum of 20 reservations will be taken for the class. Call 320-632-4007 to reserve a spot or visit https://squareup.com/store/
