CALL FOR ESTIMATES
Snow Removal at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, Little Falls, MN
The Morrison County Historical Society, owner of The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, is seeking estimates for the removal of snow at the museum during the 2013-2014 winter season. Snow is to be removed during every snow event that deposits at least 1 inch of snow on the ground. The estimate is to include the following costs per snow event:
Plowing the parking lot
Plowing the driveway
Clearing snow from the front sidewalk
If there is an additional charge for snowfalls above 6 inches, please provide this cost for the above items, as well.
Plowed snow is to be moved away from the building as much as possible. (Larger deposits can be plowed to the north end of the property.) Please be kind to our grass. If your business uses subcontractors on plowing jobs, we require that the subcontractor speak to museum staff about how the snow is to be cleared.
Museum staff will indicate with the first major snowfall how much of the sidewalk is to be cleared.
There is no need to include sidewalk salting in the estimate as museum staff take care of this task.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. We request that snow removal be done prior to museum opening unless there are extenuating circumstances.
