This charming photograph shows a studio portrait of a serious-looking young girl, Anita Yoerg, and her doting father, William. William, who was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1862, was the son of Anthony Yoerg, Jr., a state representative in 1903 and owner of the Yoerg Brewing Company in St. Paul. William and his wife, Augusta, had six children – Otto William, Edwin R., Harold Joseph, Sheldon Edward, Anita Theresa and Stanley Schell. Harold and Stanley owned and operated Yoerg’s Dairy in Little Falls, a business which got its start in 1915. The farm was located in the northwest portion of Little Falls, on land that is currently known as the Little Falls Industrial Park. William died in 1921 in the Northwestern hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the time, he was listed as a resident of Pike Creek Township in Morrison County.
