We are pleased to announce that our book “A Big Hearted Paleface Man” has won an Award of Merit from the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH). AASLH presented 72 Awards of Merit nationwide for its Leadership in History Awards. Nine of those came to the state of Minnesota, with one of those being our book. The award will be presented at the AASLH’s annual meeting awards dinner in Atlanta, Georgia, in September 2007. We’re as happy as larks.
