(LITTLE FALLS, MN – November 3, 2021) The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls, MN, was closed through the month of October 2021 in order to have the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) system replaced. The museum, which is owned and operated by the Morrison County Historical Society, depends on its HVAC system to provide a stable environment for the tens of thousands of collections items the organization owns as part of its mission to preserve and share Morrison County history.
While a large portion of the HVAC project was completed in October, there is still work to be done on the system. For this reason, the Weyerhaeuser Museum will be open by appointment only for researchers during the month of November.
For those who want to view the exhibits, the museum will be open on November 23 and 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Masks are required for all those visiting the museum.
For more information, call the Weyerhaeuser Museum at 320-632-4007 or visit the Morrison County Historical Society’s website at https://morrisoncountyhistory.org/.
