2021 Plant Sale to Benefit the Morrison County Historical Society

The spring planting season is rapidly approaching and people will soon be out in their yards, cleaning up leaves, tilling soil, and planting flowers and other vegetation. Two supporters of the Morrison County Historical Society (MCHS) will be hosting plant sales at their homes in Little Falls to benefit the organization.

Camille Warzecha, MCHS board president, and Pat Quinn, member of the MCHS Program Committee, are combining their passions for gardening and local history through the event. The sale is especially known for offering perennials, like lilies and hostas, and cottage garden plants.

The sale will take place Friday, June 4, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at both homes. Contact MCHS at 320-632-4007 for locations.

Gardeners who would like to contribute plants and bulbs to the sale may contact MCHS at 320-632-4007.

MCHS encourages wearing masks and maintaining the appropriate physical distance during the sale. In order to eliminate making change, plants will be priced in whole dollars. Cash and checks will be accepted.

Proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the Morrison County Historical Society’s mission of preserving and sharing county history.

For further information, call the Weyerhaeuser Museum at 320-632-4007 and leave a message or email staff@morrisoncountyhistory.org.
