The Morrison County Historical Society is presenting “Ghost Towns Revisited,” a program discussing towns that have disappeared from Morrison County’s landscape. The guest speaker for the event is Rhonda Fochs, author of three editions of “Minnesota’s Lost Towns.” Fochs presented a talk on the county’s ghost towns last year for the Morrison County Historical Society, with the program being so popular that the organization wanted to revisit the topic.
“Ghost Towns Revisited” will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls, MN. As part of the event, the Historical Society will also hold its annual meeting.
Social time starts at 6:30 p.m. The annual meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m., with the program to follow. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public, although only members of MCHS are allowed to vote for candidates to the board of directors. For more info call 320-632-4007.
