We are in the process of putting together the fourth newsletter of the year. For those of you who are members of the Historical Society, it should be at your door within a few weeks. One of the topics we’ll be covering is the history of the Falls Ballroom. I had the pleasure of interviewing Tom and Francie Peterson, owners of the Ballroom, yesterday. It was a two-hour interview, but didn’t feel that long at all. Tom and Francie are so full of interesting history that time sped by. In fact, I was so engrossed in the conversation that my tape ended and the tape recorder shut off without me being aware of it. Because I distrust the reliability of technology, I was taking notes, too, so all’s good. Time to transcribe my notes.
