The Morrison County Historical Society is observing the 2012 holiday season with the following events:

Lake Alexander Exhibit: November 23 through December 2, 2012, part of Linden Hill’s “Christmas at the Mansions” — The MCHS exhibit is in the second floor sleeping porch of the Weyerhaeuser (green) home at Linden Hill. Holiday Open House: Sunday, November 26, 2012, 1:00-4:00 p.m. at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, 2151 S. Lindbergh Drive, Little Falls, MN — This event will feature exhibits on area lakes and “Winter Wonderland,” an historical winter event held in Little Falls. Free and open to the public.

Book Signing with Ren Holland: Sunday, December 16, 2012, 1:00-4:00 p.m. at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, Little Falls, MN — Local author Ren Holland will present a program on his newly published book, “The Early Resorts of Minnesota” and will be available to sign copies. There will be copies of the book for purchase at the museum that day. The program, which starts at 2:00, is free and open to the public.
