The history of the Kiewel Brewing Company will be the focus of the Morrison County Historical Society’s 75th anniversary dinner this year. Our program will feature local Kiewel collector Chris Anderson in conversation with Gary Block, MCHS board member and past radio announcer.
In addition to the history of Kiewel Brewing, we will be offering a beer tasting prior to the dinner. This will be hosted by Brainerd Lakes Brewing, a specialty beer company that distributes throughout the central Minnesota region. One of the owners of the company makes Morrison County his home.
The MCHS 75th Anniversary Dinner will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at the Royalton American Legion in Royalton, MN. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with the beer tasting, with dinner to follow at 6:00 p.m. The program will start after dinner.
Cost for the event is $20 per person. Please call 320-632-4007 to make your reservations by September 13. You may also stop by the Weyerhaeuser Museum to make your reservations and pay the event fee, or mail the same to MCHS, PO Box 239, Little Falls, MN 56345.
