The Morrison County Genealogy Society will be hosting a Family History Conference on Saturday, April 30, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Initiative Foundation in Little Falls, Minnesota. The theme of the conference is “Finding Your Hidden Past.”
Rick Crume, contributing editor for Family Tree Magazine, will be the featured speaker. Conference topics will include Tracing Your Immigrant Ancestors Online, The German Connection: How to Track Down Your Immigrant Ancestor, and Genealogy Hacks: Tricks to Crack the Top Genealogy Websites.
Cost for this all-day workshop is $25, which includes a box lunch and other goodies. Pre-registration is required by April 25, 2011, if you want lunch. Space is limited.
