Over the past week, I’ve been working to add a shopping function to our website. Using PayPal, I set up a Shop page that allows website users to pay for MCHS memberships and publications.
There are now two options for making tax-deductible donations to the Morrison County Historical Society, either through the GiveMN.org button in the right sidebar or through the PayPal Donate button near the bottom of the Shop page.
Now that we have the basic shopping structure set up, we can build upon what we’ve got. For those of you who have requested a credit card option, this will fill the requirement for at least some of our shop items.
If you have suggestions for additions or improvements to the online Shop, let us know. We may be limited in what we can do based on our knowledge of the technology, but we’ll see what we can do.
