Collections Carousel – Elias Brown and Three Friends

These high class studio photographs show two different views of a dapper Elias F. Brown (1876-1966) and three of his friends looking handsome in their brimmed hats and tailored coats.  Born in Little Falls, Minnesota, on February 6, 1876, to James and Martha (Campbell) Brown, Elias was a vital member of the Little Falls community until he moved to Red Wing in 1929.  Before leaving Little Falls, Elias owned and operated the Little Falls Bottling Works, served on the Little Falls City Council and was a member of the Little Falls Masonic Lodge No. 140.  The photographs were taken by Nelson Studio of Little Falls (http://morrisoncountyhistory.org/history/?page_id=449).
