Genealogists, do you have documents in your collection that need translating? Have you heard of Google Translate? As with all web-based applications, as time goes on, sites like Google Translate are continually improved. If you haven’t given it a try in the past (or you have and weren’t satisfied with the results), why not give it a whirl?
When using the site, type the text you want translated into the box. Be sure to select the language you’re translating from as well as the language you would like it translated to. (Use drop-down boxes below text box.)
If you enter a web address (URL) for a foreign language website, Google Translate will work its magic and translate the site for you, too. Happy translating!
