July’s map of the month is another undated plat map of the City of Little Falls, Minnesota. One of the unique features of this particular plat map is the rather glaring misprint of the name of the state as Wisconsin. Never fear! Some undoubtedly well-meaning and knowledgeable citizen has scratched out the word, “Wisconsin”, and added the correct name of the state in a rather firm handwriting. The map was published by C. M. Foote & Co., Publishers, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, sometime around the turn of the 20th century. It was donated to the Morrison County Historical Society in 2004 by Clarence Tuller of Little Falls, Minnesota.
