Collections Carousel – Lampert Nail Apron

Lampert Building Center - Nail Apron

In 1925, Lampert Brothers purchased the Little Falls Lumber Company, which was located at 211 Broadway East opposite the Morrison County Courthouse.  The Lampert Lumber Company originally sold building materials, coal and wood.  The company, which later became Lampert Building Center, remained in business until the early 1990s.  The nail apron was donated to The Morrison County Historical Society by William and Burneze Krafve.  The Krafve’s owned the W. J. Krafve Grocery store near Hillman, Minnesota.

This apron is part of the Morrison County Historical Society exhibit, The Apron:  Body Armour or Bling.  The official opening of the exhibit coincides with Family Fun Day in Little Falls on Sunday, June 5, 2011.  If you like aprons or are simply curious, stop in and check it out.  For more information http://morrisoncountyhistory.org/?p=3064 or call 320/632-4007.
