Peach Gauze Beaded Dress: This flapper-era dress of peach gauze material features a design created by appliqueing white seed beads to its full length, making what would normally be a light-weight material surprisingly heavy. Donated by the Mrs. J.K. Martin estate. MCHS collections, #1971.10.42.

Yellow Dress with Beaded Drop Waist
Yellow Dress with Beaded Drop Waist: This flapper-era dress features metal and glass beads around the drop waist and on the two tassels (one in the back, one on the left shoulder). It was donated by Senator Gordon Rosenmeier’s estate. MCHS collections, #1994.45.51.
