We have a new exhibit at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum.
May 11, 2008, marks the 150th Anniversary of Minnesota’s statehood. On February 26, 2006, Morrison County also celebrated the sesquicentennial of its founding. We are celebrating these milestones and others in the county through Commemorate!, which displays a variety of artifacts that illustrate how people in the county have commemorated special events.
The exhibit also gives people an opportunity to share their favorite commemoration events through filling out a simple form that can be added to a book on display.
To see Commemorate!, stop by the museum during our open hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free, so come on in.
