Work on the new HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) system at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum is wrapping up, just a few odds and ends to finish. The museum has been closed for the past couple of months for the work. It will reopen in December 2021 for regular hours, which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays by appointment.
The museum will be closed the last couple of weeks in December (December 19, 2021 – January 1, 2022) in observance of the holidays and to allow staff to use vacation days. It will reopen for regular hours the first full week in January. Stop by on January 6, 7, and 8 if you are taking part in the New Year’s Winter Hike and Scavenger Hunt.
