Little Falls Summer Musical is seeking several actors to audition for roles in our new true-crime play, Darling, about the 1905 murder of Morrison County resident Annie Kintop and the investigation that followed.
Auditions will occur at the Charles D. Martin Auditorium from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, June 7 and 8, with callbacks Thursday, June 10. Shows are scheduled for August 5 through 8 — also at the Charles D. Martin Auditorium. Darling is directed by Little Falls Community High School faculty member and GREAT Theatre performer and director Abigail Schnobrich.
This new play, written by former Little Falls native Taryn Verley, will be accompanied by an orchestra playing original compositions and period music arranged by Lucas Burr. Additionally, LF Summer Musical is collaborating with the Morrison County Historical Society to develop a historical exhibit about the failed investigation of Ms. Kintop’s murder. The exhibit will be on display at the Weyerhaeuser Museum in Little Falls this summer, as well as in the lobby at the Charles D. Martin Auditorium during the show.
This activity is made possible with the support of the Five Wings Arts Council, the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage fund, and the McKnight Foundation.
Please help support the arts by spreading the word about this exciting premiere production of Darling!
