The City of Little Falls once had a notable geographic landmark running through the heart of the east side of town. This walking tour, led by the Morrison County Historical Society, will allow attendees to explore the Little Falls ravine that has been mostly erased from the landscape. Look for remnants of this landmark as you hear stories of the ravine’s role in the city’s history.
The Little Falls Ravine Walking Tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 8, 2017, from 10 a.m. to noon. In case of rain, the alternate date for the tour is Saturday, July 15 at the same time.
The tour will start at the corner of Second Avenue and Second Street Northeast in Little Falls (near the former site of the old Central Office building).
The cost of the tour is $20 + tax general admission. The cost is $15 + tax for members of the Morrison County Historical Society. Children 12 and under may attend for free. Admissions can be purchased via MCHS’s online shop at https://squareup.com/store/morrison-county-historical-society or at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls.
Reservations are due by July 7, with a limit of 20 reservations for this event.
