We are pleased to announce that Jan and Art Warner have won Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums. This is the first year for these awards and to be eligible, a person has to have served the Minnesota history community for a minimum of 25 years. Art and Jan had each put in over 50 years when Art died in August 2015 and Jan retired as Executive Director of the Morrison County Historical Society the same month. They join Marlys Hirst of the Lake of the Woods County Historical Society in receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The awards will be presented on April 27, 2016, during MALHM’s annual meeting and conference in Willmar, MN.
