Kazeck’s Market, a grocery store and meat market in Randall, Minnesota, was operated by the Kazeck family from 1918 until 1975.  The store was first built in 1909 by Mr. Calhoun of Randall.  Prior to being purchased by the Kazeck’s, the store was owned and operated by Joe Nary for a few years.  Emil and Clara Kazeck purchased the store on January 1, 1918, and operated it along with an ice house.  Ice was hauled by Emil from the Little Elk River and was sold to the Randall Creamery and to local residents.  The remainder of the ice was used in the store.  Emil and Clara’s oldest son, Hurel, took charge of the store in 1949.  Hurel and his wife, Bertha, managed the store until it was sold to Wes Miller in 1975.
