Public Shoe Exhibit at Weyerhaeuser Museum

In the first half of 2014, the Morrison County Historical Society mounted a shoe exhibit using shoes and other leg and foot-related items from its collection. The exhibit was called “Saunter: On the Path of the Pedestrian.”

As part of the exhibit, museum staff took photos of visitors’ shoes during the summer of 2014 and posted them in exhibit cases.

To continue the shoe theme, in November the museum put out a call for people to bring a pair of their shoes in for a public shoe exhibit to be displayed throughout the month of December. Over 50 pairs of shoes were loaned for this special exhibit. Here are some (most!) of them.
