Pics from Anton Treuer Event

While I was busy waiting for a group of Cub Scouts to arrive last night in advance of the Anton Treuer talk, Ann Marie was taking pictures. She also whipped out the camera during Anton’s talk and you can see from the pictures below that we had a packed house with a rapt audience.

Anton spoke for a little more than an hour and took questions for another half-hour. The crowd, showing their knowledge of county history, could have kept Anton busy for another hour with their questions about how Ojibwe history intersected with Morrison County history, but there were treats waiting, as well as a long drive for Anton.

Miigwech to Anton Treuer, Laura Hansen and her staff at Bookin’ It (which co-hosted this event), and to our visitors last night for a fun and informative event!
