Porch Painting

Our new porch is now undergoing painting by Phil Solem. That means that we need to have our guests enter the museum around back through the southeast courtyard door. We’ve got signs to direct you to the appropriate door.

Incidentally, you’ll be able to pass right by the tree recently chewed by a beaver, which is quite a dramatic sight.

Work on the porch should be finished within the next week or two, so please bear with us.

Family Fun Day – June 3

During political races, it’s become popular for candidates to refer to the founding documents of the United States of America: The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. How many Americans have read these important documents? Visitors to The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum will have an opportunity to receive a copy of them on Family Fun Day.

Family Fun Day, which will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012, is an event that encourages Little Falls residents to visit the many attractions in the city by offering free admission. The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, which has free admission year-round, will be open that day from 1 to 4 p.m. Staff will provide each visiting family with a copy of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution in convenient booklet form.

To see the schedule for other Family Fun Day sites, visit the Little Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau events calendar online at http://www.littlefallsmn.com/calendar/EventsCalendar.php?language=english
